NSF Players
Below are some programs that will allow you to play Nes Music Format files on your computer. Many are WinAmp plugins, so you should've gone to http://www.winamp.com and installed WinAmp before using these.

Bleep! 1.04 12/22/99 Neill Corlett Winamp Plug-in Bleep! is a plug-in for the all-powerful sound file player, WinAmp. It features some neat little features over the other WinAmp-based players, including the ability to customize the sample rate and title display. Additionally, it is the only player currently to play NSF that use the VRC7 chip, so it has a bit of an edge over the others. It also uses a lot less CPU, so it runs well even on low-end machines. I highly recommend it! Once again, to use this you must have installed WinAmp to use it. Copy the .dll file in the zip to the plugin directory.
NesAmp 0.4 5/3/99 Michel Iwaniec Winamp Plug-in This is by the author PlayNSF, below. It was first WinAmp Plug-in for NSFs, and unfortunately, it kinda shows. There are many NSF it doesn't play correctly, and some it plays not at all (Notably games like Castlevania 3 which use special chips like the VRC6). I kinda suggest you not use this one, since there are better, less CPU intensive players available. Like with the other plug-ins, to use this you must have installed WinAmp to use it. Copy the .dll file in the zip to the plugin directory.
Nosefart 0.7 5/20/99 Matthew Conte DOS You have to love the name of this one ^_^. The DOS version seems to have been abandoned, but between this and PlayNSF, this is the better of the DOS players. It at least players all the "normal" NSF correctly, however it lacks support for VRC6. However, I suggest using this fellow only if you can't use the WinAmp version for some reason.
Nosefart 1.7 11/24/99 Matthew Conte Winamp Plug-in This was the first halfway-decent WinAmp plug-in. It plays all the "normal" NSF files, and additionally plays VRC6 games (however, it can't pay VRC7 yet =[ ). Additionally, it's not as customizable as Bleep!, but it's still a good player nonetheless. Just like any WinAmp plug-in, to use this you must have installed WinAmp to use it. Copy the .dll file in the zip to the plugin directory.
PlayNSF 4/16/99 Micheal Iwaniec DOS This was the first NSF player. It is very buggy. It hasn't been updated in quite a while. I'm sorry, but I can't really recommend this unless you can't run WinAmp and you can't run the DOS version of Nosefart.
