Gamesounds was first opened by (wraith) on April 22, 1999. It started out with 1800 Midi from (wraith)'s personal collection that he had acquired over the past few years on the Internet.

The site started initially as an experiment into Web Design, Perl and JavaScript Programming. As more Midi was acquired, as well as Mods and NSF, it was decided that a change in the site's design was necessary. The site you're now viewing is the culmination of that re-design, which took about three months of writing HTML, tweaking Perl Scripts, and augmenting JavaScript.

Gamesounds has always been about the music first and will always be about the music first. Thanks for your support!
